The room & bathroom spaceous.. Staff extremely helpful & friendly. Check in & out prompt. Bed comfortable & no noise
the room layout. even though i had a disabled person's bathroom. Nice bar facilities. nice breakfast
check out times.staff were very abrupt
The staff couldn't have been nicer, they were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a problem. Beds sooo comfortable. Food in both restaurant and bar great.
The fact that we were overlooking peoples houses and back gardens and the front of the hotel faced a Nissan garage was a bit off putting. It felt like it was put in the middle of a housing estate and industry! Fine if your surroundings don't matter. Nothing within walking distance.
I loved the comfort and style of the room. It was a good size and was very comfortable and relaxing. The room was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard and I especially loved the duvet, the size of the bed, and the shower.
The staff were friendly and helpful; the leisure centre had good opening hours and the location suited our needs.
On both nights of our stay, there were several episodes of considerable noise on the bedroom corridors between 1am and 3 am when guests were returning to their bedrooms. This was far in excess of what one would normally experience in a hotel of this type. I understand that there was a function on in the hotel on one of the nights. I accept that this is a difficult issues for hotels to manage but I feel that some signs -for example, a movable sign placed strategically beside the lift after midnight ) or requests to guests when they are checking in might do something to raise their level of awareness of their impact on other guests.
really nice place to stay.. staff were friendly, looked after us very well..the food was really nice...good value for money..
Hotel decor is lovely, spa & leisure facilities were excellent & not too crowded. Also breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
The hotel is located is a bit outside Athlone town. I would have preferred to be closer to shopping/bars/restaurants.
Large, modern rooms with comfortable bed and great shower too.
As we only stayed two nights, can only say everything was to our satisfaction, staff very pleasant breakfast particularly good.
Good value for money. Friendly, communicative staff and convenient. It's in a fairly desolate business development but it didn't effect the service or comfort. I used it for a business trip and it was excellent.
the rooms were very spacious and decorated lovely very tidy, bed big and comfortable, black out curtains from ceiling to floor very good..
very loud music from weddings on both nights could be heard from room. plus first night kids running thru the hotel at all hours making noise. hotel very warm.
Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, excellent leisure centre
Good value and excellant facilities
We enjoyed visiting the Midlands of Ireland. The spa was great and the room was suitable for an 11 year old and his grandparents.
I felt it was very expensive for a room for 2 grandparents and an 11 year old for two nights b&b. WE decided to eat in the Cedar Restaurant on the second night and we had a very mediocre meal. The turkey escalopes and the turkey & ham were warm but not hot. We were told they came with roast potatoes but they were on mash which was not hot. The apple pie pudding was stuck to the bottom of the plate. It was a disappointment. The whole stay cost over £330 so we will not be staying there again. It was our second holiday in the Athlone Springs Hotel but this one was more disappointing. The view from our room was a clay building plot.
Lovely hotel most of the staff very helpful , food excellent. Breakfast was brilliant.
Location was poor , we travelled to athlone via birr direction no signposts to show us where hotel was . a small thing but can be easily recetified .We were forthy minutes in athlone before we found hotel ,but when you get there the hotel itself is lovely ,well worth a visit.
